Rooms and stays
What rooms do you have?
Seven suites around a pool: Standard Suites (31 m², ground floor), Deluxe Suites (35 m², kitchenette), the Sunset Suite (54.5 m², kitchen and balcony), the Grand Suite (83 m², separate living room, full kitchen, balcony) and the two-bedroom Penthouse with a private rooftop jacuzzi.
Is there a minimum stay?
2 nights. Weekly and monthly stays have their own lower prices.
Do the rooms have air conditioning and hot water?
Yes, every room has air conditioning and hot water.
Can I cook?
Every unit has a stove. The Deluxe Suites have a kitchenette; the Sunset Suite, Grand Suite and Penthouse have a full kitchen. Standard Suites have a mini fridge.
How often is the room cleaned?
Housekeeping comes every 2 days on every stay, nightly, weekly or monthly, and all linen is changed once a week.
Is the Wi-Fi good for remote work?
Yes, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and every suite has space to work.
Is there a lift?
No, the building has stairs only. Tell us if you have heavy luggage or need a ground-floor room.
Can you add a baby cot or an extra bed?
Yes, ask us and the team will arrange it.
Arriving and leaving
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Late check-out until 12:00 is 10% of the night, when the room is free.
Can I check in early or leave my bags?
Early check-in is free when your room is ready, and luggage storage is free.
How far is the airport?
Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS) is usually about an hour by car, often more in afternoon and evening traffic. We can arrange an airport pickup.
How do I get in if I arrive late?
Message us on WhatsApp on your arrival day: confirmed guests get their entry details there.
House rules
Are pets allowed?
No, we don't allow pets.
Can I smoke?
On your balcony and at the smoking tables by the pool, never inside the rooms.
Can I have visitors?
Yes, visitors are welcome. No parties, please.
Is it safe?
Yes: there is 24-hour security and CCTV.
When is the pool open?
Usual hotel hours, from the morning into the evening; please keep it quiet at night.
Prices and payment
How do I pay?
By bank transfer, cash or online payment. There is no card machine at the desk.
Is there a deposit?
Weekly and monthly stays: a 30% deposit holds the room and the balance is paid on arrival. Monthly stays also have a refundable security deposit, as usual in Bali; we confirm the amount when you book.
Is electricity included?
Yes, electricity is included on monthly stays.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes, we provide invoices and receipts, for example for your company or visa.
Is it cheaper to book direct?
Yes. Booking direct costs less than Booking.com or Airbnb for the same room, and returning guests get 10% off.
What is your cancellation policy?
For direct bookings we confirm the terms when you book.
The area
Where is Onyx?
On Jalan Padang Linjong in Canggu, a quiet street between Batu Bolong and Echo Beach (2.3 km), with cafés, restaurants, yoga and spas nearby.
How far is the beach?
About a 13-minute walk. A minimart is less than a minute away.
Is there a restaurant?
No restaurant on site, but there are food vendors close by, and GoFood and GrabFood deliver to the door.
How do I get around?
Most guests use a scooter or the Grab and Gojek apps. We can arrange scooters, drivers and tours.
Is there construction nearby?
No, there is no construction around Onyx. It's a quiet street.
