This policy explains how Onyx Beach Hotel, Jl. Canggu Padang Linjong No.45x, Canggu, Bali 80351 (“we”), uses information when you book a stay or message us, including on WhatsApp.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number and the messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
- Booking details: dates, room, number of guests, price and payment status.
- Details you choose to give us, such as arrival time or special requests.
How we use it
- To answer your questions, check availability and quote prices.
- To make, change and manage your booking and your stay.
- To keep the records we must keep for accounting and tax.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Services we use
- WhatsApp (Meta) to receive and send messages.
- Cloudbeds, our booking system, to hold reservations.
- Cloudflare to run our private staff inbox.
- Anthropic (Claude) to write replies to your messages. At night, and when our team is away, these replies are sent automatically; questions about payments, deposits or problems are always passed to our team. Our team can read every conversation.
These services process information only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for up to 12 months after your last contact, and booking records for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your information. Send a WhatsApp to +62 812 1562 7299 or email onyxbeachhotel@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data”. We will delete your messages and contact details within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, and confirm when it is done.
